For several years now I have carefully collected Bronica EC-TL II camera body and lenses and have decided to try to sell it as a group. The EC-TL is a medium format SLR with a 2 piece mirror that allows lenses to be designed to be used closer to the film plane for increased image quality and decreased size and weight. It is also a camera that has auto metering using an aperture priority system and center weighted metering. The II designation indicates that it is the latest version, with better electronics and tougher construction than previous versions. They are pretty rare, especially in this near mint condition. The earlier Bronica cameras used Nikkor optics, which were VERY good quality. Later on in the series they built Zenzanon lenses , most of which were multi-coated (MC) and improved on the quality of the previous lenses, IMO. This set includes 40mm, 50mm, 80mm, and 150mm Zenzanon MC lenses, the 75mm Nikkor-H lens, which is the same formula as the Plaubel Makina 75mm lens, and it also includes the 200mm Nikkor lens. The set also includes the 45 degree finder and the chimney finder along with 3 120/220 backs and the case shown. If you do a little research you will find out all about this wonderful camera and system. The EC-TL is not plagued by the loud shutter sound of the previous S2 and S2a models, it sounds much like the sound of a 500cm when shooting. Compared to the Hasselblad there were many improvements to this camera. The image is always in view, not dependent on winding on the camera. The film back has a dark slide holder built in. The film back is disengaged by pushing the dark slid in about 2mm. The focusing helicoid is separate from the lens and the camera so it feels identical for all lenses. Best of all, the lenses are very compact. The 40mm is about the same size as the 75mm or the 80mm. The price of this kit is very low compared to other maker's cameras, and is priced to sell.
