Lee....mostly the 85mm 1.4. I don't bring the 105 1.4 to weddings...I actually prefer the Sigma 135 2.0.

#10 - look at the videographer with the rails up that high, titled. Yikes.

You mean the new 135 1.8?
Are there images from the new sigma mixed into this set as well?

The OOF rendering on #2 really is something. All dreamy.

ahaug...yes, the Sigma 135 1.8....not 2.0. No Sigma images above...but I'll post some samples later. I shot Canon for 10 years and the 135L was my hands-down favourite lens. The Sigma 135 1.8 is exponentially better. Mind-blowingly better than the Canon 135L. In my experience, anyway!

Lee...for the second set, it was my first time using a Godox AD200 (into a collapsable silver beauty dish)...really liking the results.

Joseph...both these guys are into biking....so when we found a bike on the property we HAD to use it!

But but you need 14.5 stops of DR to take good photos, all you Nikon guys have been laughing at us Canon guys for years. So these are all rubbish I'm afraid

I could swear I know the guy on the left - father of the bride?

Was this done in south-west ontario (as in near the "tech triangle" around cambridge / kitchener / waterloo)?

Very Very good, almost 3d looking images, unbelievably good. You and your equipment did a fantastic job. I would (personally) prefer a bit lower contrast but your images are still at an exceptionally high level. Kudos.

kaplah...yes. That's the Father of the Bride. His name is Dennis. This was shot at Belcroft Estates.

FrancisK7...thanks buddy. Hope to see you again the next time I'm in Montreal!

Small world - I know Dennis from some sports activities. Never saw him in a suit, so wanted to double-check!

And, great images. So much for the myth that the D5 is no good at low ISO. Past the technical, good posing! Looks like a couple of fun groups.

Some goodness for sure ... long time no post. miss seeing your work.

Noticed the WB on the 2nd wedding is heavy on the green tint.
#7 - 2nd wedding is a little bright - over exposed.

Clarity is a little hot on both sets....

thanks for sharing.
