As I looked across the breakfast table, I saw that my wife was wearing a brooch, small and green with red patterns. I approached and lifted it off on my finger tip. My wife's pre-breakfast walk in the garden must have involved a brush against some foliage.
I released the bug on some Dahlia leaves, not ideal, as getting unobstructed shots was difficult. In particular, pulling aside the foliage with my right hand, which also held the second flash led to some imbalance in the lighting.
I have seen the occasional adult before but don't recall seeing this late instar nymph.
EM-1, Oshiro 2:1 60mm macro, twin TTL flash.
