For me 3 is the winner though the square crop makes it feel loose on the top, if it was shot in landscape I'd be interested to see it in that format but cropped slightly tighter(unless the grain disappears on the side in a wider shot).

The light in 1 and 2 is pretty harsh and 4 feels soft considering how close it is I'd expect it to be very sharp, unless this is a severe crop from a larger image.

I like #3 with the square crop better.

I'm no expert in people photography, but image 3 really jumped out to me - beautiful image! I think I slightly prefer the landscape version of this image, but both are wonderful.

The brightness of the (top) background in #3 is too much - it overpowers your model. The landscape crop solves that. Now you have an excellent photo.

Nits:
#4 has a shadow on her eyes, from the high light source. Also, the green OOF foliage on the left side and the partial fingers at the bottom are distractions.

I like the pop in the B&W versions.

The first photo intrigues in what appears to be a visual paradox as she seemingly implores for rain or a good harvest while kneeling in a thriving and abundant field.

The first shot reminds me of Scarlet O'Hara in "Gone With The Wind"when she grabs the soil and says she would return to Tara, her estate which was ravaged by the Civil War. I prefer the color shots to the B&W. The second B&W shot looks somewhat harsh.
