The Tamron 90mm developed a problem (some inner electrical connection tape came loose and is blocking the view)
Was back to shooting with tubes and reversed lenses

Some results
1. Extension tubes + Canon 50mm f1.8

2. Extension tubes + Canon 55-250mm

3. Extension tubes + Canon 55-250mm

4. Soligor 28mm reversed

C&C sought

Cheers!

Love #1. Beautiful colours with a mobile life form for interest.

An excellent set.

It looks like you may not have aperture control on the reversed Soligor.

Thank you Mark and Harold!

Harold - the Soligor does have a manual aperture ring

So do e.g. Olympus OM film lenses but you have to lock the stop-down lever for reversed use.

Some mounts, such as Nikon F, retain the setting when reversed.

An observation on using various reversed lenses: In my experience, with various lenses, over several years, with flash lighting there is not need to use an improvised lens hood, which would reduce the working distance significantly.
