I don't have a remote so I literally held the release down with my finger for 3 minutes. I tired to rig something up for a longer exposure using a Tiffen variable ND filter plus a BW 3 stop ND, but I was not successful.

Have the app. Don't think it does that.

I've done a 4min 15 with the X-T1 and was surprised the result was decent.

This is an example where cross posting threads doesn't work because this is a Cityscape photo not a Landscape photo.

I do not think it is true/false flag whether a cityscape is a landscape or not. There are definitely places where elements apply to both categories. Maybe not the above example though.

Yeah, there can definitely be shots that can be multiple categories or simply be hard to define. I was simply saying that when using the cross posting ability on a thread between a presentation forum and a gear forum can lead to issues. There are lots of people who could be on the gear end, and not even realize this is also a Landscape Thread and unknowingly post photos that could be city, sports, people etc photos.

We could split the difference and call it an urban landscape....

I think if its ultra wide, has elements of nature such as moving clouds from a long exposure, and pretty colors, its essentially a landscape photo, or at least has enough similar elements with the ethos of landscape photography to be applicable to the same crowds

Not that I really spend too much time worrying about rules or categories, but for me something like a "cityscape" would be an image of an industrial part of Detroit, showing lots of crumbling urban decay, broken out windows etc, essentially nothing from nature

I don't know... maybe the harder something is to define, the more unique and interesting
