One clean machine Bob! Too bad he had leather fender covers still on. But you can't control that. Contrasts are perfect!
Dan
Thanks Dan,
Yes, several cars had the covers on and kept them on while the judging took place.
Glad you enjoy the image.

Dan beat me to it! I was going to say "it's a clean machine". (Beatles beat both of us to it)
Well done. The second POV is awesome!
Scott
Thanks Scott,
Pristine, as were many. Competing in car shows is not in my DNA when it comes to detailing.
Glad he raised the cowling (?) for display.
Best,

I really like the symmetry in the second image. Now that I've made it to the age I can enjoy a few toys, these old cars have worked their way right out of my price range, but I still enjoy looking.
Doug,
I've had brief moments thinking about it but I cannot appreciate a car that I can't drive without worrying about everything. Bought a '67 Porsche 911 S (aka the orange money pit) shortly after arriving in Germany many years ago - car drove me nuts and frankly the anticipation of ownership far exceeded the actual experience.
Several were for sale - $35K to $50K, image not posted yet of the $50K item.
Best,
Bob
