p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Shooting in mall, how to get rid of reflections

Hello guys,

I have to do some shots of product inside a mall, behind the display windows... One of the problems is reflections opposite stores/ lights/ people walking past...

How can one get rid of all these nasty reflections in the windows? Would a polarisor help?

Any suggestions please......

Regards

Leon

Polarizer can help but if you don't have one, paying attention to the angle you're shooting at vs the angle of the light sources can go a long way.

request to do the shoot well before or after operating hours. that is the best way to prevent external reflections and distracted bg.

Aside from wearing black as Two23 suggested, get enough black paper / black velvet cloth to cover the windows in the area and shoot through a hole just large enough for a lens.
