Description from website:
Overview
The Lightweight Multi-Row Pano Elements Package offer a more compact and lighter option for multi-row panorama setups, for those who use smaller and lighter camera setups such as Micro Four-Thirds (MFT) or any number of mirror-less systems, including those will APS-C and full-frame 35mm size sensors. These cameras are dimensionally smaller, as are their lenses (generally) and require less extension of the horizontal and vertical arms for centering as well as movement clearance. The lighter weight also allows the use of the same panning clamp component in the vertical axis, resulting in a much lower overall package weight for a complete multi-row panorama setup.
Like the other Multi-Row Pano Elements kits, this setup combines the components of a single-row panorama package (panning clamp, nodal slide) with horizontal and vertical offset rails and a vertical tilting axis. The same adjustability for lens centering exists, but in a smaller scale. With complete laser-engraved 2.5-degree scales on the pan and tilt axes, and a built-in level on the horizontal components, this package is ready to setup on top of your leveling base or ballhead via its built-in dovetail and be shooting in just seconds.
The PC-PRO Panning clamp is designed to offer precision horizontal panning as a versatile built-in or modular accessory. Combining our traditional screw-knob style clamp jaw with a lockable 360-degree panning bearing, the PC-PRO is a robust yet lightweight panning solution for more convenient single-row panorama shooting. Like all of our screw-knob clamps, the PC-PRO offers smooth fine-tuning of the rail within the jaw, making precise 1mm movements to a no-parallax point as easy as possible. Screw-knob clamps also offer greater compatibility for tolerances on Arca-Swiss plates, expanding compatibility for brands that may not have the same level of precision as a Really Right Stuff dovetail (+/- 0.005"). A second PC-PRO acts as the vertical tilt axis in this package, providing the same precise rotation and 2.5-degree precision with independent locking for most small and mid-sized camera systems at any angle.
The MPR-192 and CRD-Rail components offer solid strength at minimal weight, and provide the necessary adjustability for lens centering over the horizontal axis. The components separate into 3 pieces via quick-release for compact storage together or apart.
Features
Perfect for adding a tilt axis for small to mid-weight camera systems (such as MFT or mirror-less)
Integral dovetail base fits all Arca-Swiss/Really Right Stuff-style clamps (except Markins QR-48Ns clamps)
Precision laser-engraved 2.5 degree pan/tilt scale
CNC-Machined from solid 6061 T6 aluminum for high strength with minimal weight
CRD-Rail features knurled locking knob at base for easy chatter-free adjustment of vertical arm, even with gear loaded.
PC-PRO lever-release clamps have 50-pound no-slip rating in any orientation
Dual screw mounting of vertical panning clamp provides solid connection
MPR-192 offers over 6 inches of offset for centering lenses and is strong enough to avoid deflection under heavy loads
Precision laser-engraved millimeter scale on both sides of MPR-CL II allows precise positioning at the no-parallax point
MPR-CL II's integral screw-knob clamp jaw accepts left/right facing dovetail plates and L-plates
Nodal slide offers sufficient range for most non-collared lenses from 16-100mm (full-frame 35mm equivalent)
Built-in "bulls-eye" style spirit levels give accurate and highly visible level indication
MPR-CL II's front and back safety stop screws prevent accidentally sliding out of a Really Right Stuff clamp jaw while adjusting
(1) 3/8"-16 and (4) 1/4"-20 accessory mounting sockets on flat top surface (for additional ballhead or other mounting) |
