If you are not aware of it, the access to Realto Beach is closed because of the road being washed out.

Its about 40 miles from Ruby Beach. All of them are gorgeous when the light is right

The Olympic NP is such a great place to shoot. The beaches are the best. You have some really nice ones here. What a neat place to be. Always enjoyed my trips there.

nicely touched color tone and balanced frame work, and
aesthetic lines and inspirational composition.

Beautiful images! #1 is pretty stunning with the light and reflection. I think you cold get away with some of the top cloud cropped from #2 but either way beautiful.

Jon - yes, it is! It was my first time there, and the weather was mostly nice (raining sideways only one day during the whole week.) The images were taken during workshop, and it was my very first workshop, too, with the greatest instructors ever!

Thank you! (The image was taken during workshop; one of our instructors was actually playing classical music while shooting - although not at this particular scene.)

Dean, thank you! I was trying to get low to show the light reflected on the swirls of sand. With #2, the idea was to get the lines on the top and bottom mirror each other, but perhaps it did not come out well.
