p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Ferris Wheel

Recently jumped back into photography after a long lay off (forced)....bought back my 'old' camera d700 and with a cheap 28-75mm tamron lens..

Anyway....I really like this shot, but was curious is the composition is off putting? I had the time to re-comp, but for some reason just didn't in the moment. thoughts or critic please...

Note: no post work has been done, just straight from the camera. recommendations?

I really like it.
One suggestion would be tilt the camera up more to include the top of the wheel, as there's wasted space at the bottom.

yeah..that's exactly what I was referencing, As I should have reframed....just curious how much that takes away from the image.

I suppose how much it takes away from the image is subjective.
As it is, I don't think it's too much.
The viewers brain fills in the blanks and knows there's a top and how it should appear.
I suppose it's like portraits of people, there are guidelines about where you should crop and frame, so it looks natural. There's probably similar rules for architecture.
