Not sure about the latest gadgets out there! ..Are there any new ways of viewing your digital shots on a job site, other then the cameras LCD screen, or a laptop?

Tether your camera to a laptop or go wireless to a laptop. Multiple products out there that will work based on your requirements.

I use an Eye-Fi card for architectural and portraiture. I've used one at events, although with less success (range, I need to occasionally re-start the transfer when back in range of the laptop / table). The receiving software runs on laptops / tablets.

I use CamRanger. I can show large images on my tablet and email them.
It also shows a histogram and can control video and HDR shooting.

I still use my hyper drive for backing up my cards in the field when a card comes out. Of the camera and straight in to the hyperdrive
