hello

im using my xt1 (and xe1 as a backup) for 3 years now for family, street, travel, landscape etc.
i have 16, 23 1.4, 35 1.4, 90 and 18-55.
sometimes im hiking with 2 cameras (xt1+35, xe1+16). sometimes i go only with my xt1+23 1.4 or 18-55.

what am i missing?
first - i want an option for something light and small.
second - i want the new features of the new cameras - joystick, new sensor.

2 weeks ago i tried the x100t in the store and loved the small size and.
i tried also the xpro2 for 15 minutes - and loved the way it feel in my hand and the layout.
the OVF looks very intresting, but i really dont know if i will use it (and maybe i will miss the big EVF)

now, my options are:
1. sell the xe1, and buy the xpro2.
the problem: my 23 1.4, 16 1.4 are not 100% good for the OVF.
i can sell my 23 1.4 and buy the 23 f2 - but from what i read, the f2 is not good as the 23.14.
i can also buy 27 for minimal setup - and hike with xt1+16/18-55 + xpro2 27

2. sell the xe1, buy xt2 + used 27.

3. sell the xt1+xe1, buy xt2 and used x100t.

4. stay with the xt1, buy x100f.

thoughts?

thanks!

The XP2 has three options for the viewfinder, OVF, EVF and hybrid (OVF with a mini EVF in the lower right corner).

Out of laziness or familiarity, I find myself in the EVF mode. I use the XP2 instead of the XT2 to avoid the guy with a "pro" camera look. My XT2 is gripped and has really become nothing more than a smaller DSLR.

Sounds like an XP2 would give you the most options.

Just get Graphite Silver X-T2, and you definitely won't look like a pro...😊

The OVF on the X-Pro 2 grows on you.

The really wide and the really long (physically from back to front) do suffer minor limitation on the OVF. The EVF view in the lower right corner helps there. I haven't found it to be serious problem. For example, the 16/1.4:

I'd go with the XT2 and add the 50 2.0 wr.

#2 or #3 since you state you want upgraded camera features and a small/light option

since u have a good set of lenses already, i'd lean to the xt2 and x100t

thank you all

i tried the XPRO2 in the store - it felt good in my hands, but the EVF was too small for my eyes.
another thing - the 23 1.4 was little too big for the OVF, and i really love this lens and dont want to buy the 23 f2. same thing about 16 1.4 which is great but too big for the OVF.

so i bought the XT2. im selling my XT1 and will buy x100t (used)
