So I've been hired numerous times by a private school to take documentary style photos of a school day. The client does not wish to have these photos made public which is understandable. How do you suggest I market this type of business without being able to publicaly use these photos of middle school age kids?

Thanks for your help
Ty

Take some similar photos, with permission of course, at a nearby park? No one but you will know the difference. Be generic and leave the brand naming out of it.

I suggest you show a few photos of school exteriors and classroom interiors, with no kids present, and emphasize that your work is confidential, and so you cannot share previous photos. Ideally, your past clients will allow you to list them as references, and go with that.

Alternatively, you could hire some child models and arrange for a classroom shoot, but that would be a considerable investment in time and money.

Can you take a photo from the back of the class of a teacher teaching while only showing the back of the student's heads?
