Bob,

You did well on a tricky exposure. The mystery is what are they waiting for, because clearly they're waiting for something/someone. That question and the lack of immediate answers, makes the image hard to stop thinking about. Also, who are they, what is their role in whatever they're waiting for, etc. Even the "302" on the door -- a residence, motel/hotel, conference center? Lots of questions. Intriguing.

Dang, black skin wearing white clothing in the shadow during harsh sun.:wow:

Bob you must into masochism.

I think you need to bring the mids up some on this one to allow for more separation between their heads and the brick behind them.

Love how the man is looking out just waiting for the car he's expecting to pull up. The wringing hands add tension. I'm sure the woman is texting or calling the people they are meeting wondering where they are.

Neat scene - love those bright outfits!

Jeff

Definitely like your tighter mono OP shot over the color or wider mono.

This is an intriguing shot for the reasons Keith pointed out. Adds a bit of mystery to the image I think.

I'm not on a good monitor right now but I think the suggested midtone adjustment does help with the separation.

I hope Steve drops in and comments on this one. It would be interesting to hear his take on this as this (to me) is a nice street image.

Last mono version for me. Great texture in the whites which to me is an example of great exposure.
