Hi all

Just sharing this one, because well what else do I do with all these photos

Comments welcome. This is a single shot taken with a whopping 16 stops filter applied (10+6 stack) making an exposure of 4min 15 seconds. First time I've gone beyond 30 seconds so it was more of an experiment.

I would be quite happy with that experiment. Nice colors also.

Thanks, sky is quite dramatic that's for sure. Yeah the crane needs to go!

sky is natural and not saturated colors. clouds create a dramatic mood.

you said comments but i'm unsure if critiques are considered as comments. anyway:

a bit bright on the sun, perhaps pulling back on the highlight.

also, it appeared you didn't do much processing of the image judging from the flat tones on my uncal. monitor. if so, i would suggest adjusting the contrast, highlights, whites, blacks, and a bit of clarity to add more punch to the image. ;')

Agree about the sun and the colors being flat. But your intention of you wanted to accomplish worked nicely. I want to try doing that. I bought the Singh-Ray neutral density in 20, 15, 10, and 5 stops I just have not had a chance to try it out.
