Wow, I see three ways to get this. The guy intersecting the painted face on the wall. The guy intersecting the lady coming his way, and the intersection itself.

But the most striking thing to me is the position of the man and the face. Just a second later his knee would have matched the nose, Good catch.

This is a great one. Before scrolling down I knew I liked it: The headless gentleman. Thinking Magritte. And then it keeps getting better.
You seem to have a nose for these kinds of things, Steve.

Very clever timing!

If there were more people you could have titled it "Congested" Intersection.

Thanks Kelly! Fortunately not much work to do on this one, other than a little curves (especially on sidewalk) and slight sharpening. It was a bright sunny morning, early, a favorite time of my mine to go out shooting.

This is a photographic gem in its spontaneous capture and in its overall structure with the knee and the nose both leading to the woman as a secondary point of interest.

HOW ARE YOU ALWAYS *THERE*?!

Great timing/capture. I actually LOVE the decapitation but loving the cropped shoes less.

Any chance for some room down there or are we looking at the whole monty?

Thanks Jeff. Unfortuantely the whole Monty. Unless I do some serious cloning.

Nah it's just a nit. Kinda cool how the foot just runs right into the bottom edge. The shot is surreal, so different scoring applies.

An added bit of serendipity is that they are both in stride on their left foot, just to add one more nuanced element.

Yes to serendipity. I stood crouched in front of the blue nose waiting for people to approach. I took maybe 6 shots as various pedestrians passed by me over a period of 5 minutes. Only one other capture caught my attention, but the crop was bad and it was out of focus, but funny. Here it is totally unadjusted.

Sometimes you have to bide your time, and hope for a bit of serendipity.
