Steve-ception!!!

Neat shot, almost like a double (triple?) exposure.

Food for thought below - take a quick comparison glance and let me know you think losing a bit of the "frame" gains you focus/clarity.

Really appreciate the crop suggestion Jeff as I know how good your eye is. Have to think about it as I sorta feel the original "breathes" more. Curious what others think.

You know I loving tweaking everything!

So here's an idea of how my eyes took this one in. I notice the center figure first where the highest amount of contrast/eyegrab is, and then very quickly see that there is a LOT of repetition here with the squares and rectangles.

Having yourself off-center here doesn't "fit" to me and the parts outside the red just don't really matter. Personally the tighter crop strengthens what I believe is your message.

Just my $0.02!!

Jeff

I dunno ... I think you should have "TRI"-ed a little harder.

Thanks Ben. By the way, I can't believe you knew close to the make and model of the derelict car you photographed. NCIS should get in touch with you.

Well I am old enough that these truck were common sites. And being a car buff, I started at an early age. The grill was the giveaway. The only other truck that might qualify is an International Harvester.

The technology gave the year range. Floor shift and hand brake. 6 cyl Flathead engine, probably a Continental. I added a link to my post for a 1929 Dodge.

I gotta say this is a pretty damn cool shot Steve. I spent at least 4 minutes and a couple of revisits to view this one before I finally figured out how you got the reflections.

So for me at least, it's a winner just based on that fact!

Jeff's tighter crop does work better I think

Thanks Dave. I'm going to post another version/vision tonight.

I dig how it looks like you are holding a larger camera with a view of the ground glass (not inverted) showing.

When you said "tri", wasn't sure what you were suggesting. I'll post another take tonight where my full head is showing making it more "tri."

First (three) reactions: Yes!
Great capture.
Your original post feels more natural, less planned
Jeff's tweak does simplify but then feels a bit less spontaneous.
both have merits.

Just a feeble attempt at "wordplay" on the TRI of triple and the TRI of tried ... kinda lame-o attempt to be clever. Swing & a miss on the clever pitch.
