2 males at the same time must have required some very fast shooting. Well done, Birdie.
Thank you. I wish I had been quick enough to get the shot of the one in the lower part when he turned to face the other guy and was all crouched down !

Lovley set Roberta.
What we need is for our friends that go south of the border to go there, chase all the stunning birds north and then let someone build a wall so they can't go back.

Beautiful shots Birdie. Even in CR it is a good day when you get two together on one perch.

Those are some sweet pictures. Roberta, I think you are one of a few N&W contributors who rule this board with consistently high quality.
Coming from one whose work I truly admire, your words are greatly appreciated

Very nice Birdie, do you suppose you could send some of these north?
Douglas
I wish I could Douglas. I did have around 6 of them . Not I am only seeing 2 or 3, so maybe they are moving your way.

I'm jealous, and may have to move south to LA. So far I've had only 1 female come through our area here in North Texas.
Very nice photos, the natural light gives a totally different view than flash systems.
Gene
Thanks so much Gene. The numbers seem down here as well. I did use fill flash. However I am using the MagMod wildlife kit. I do like how it seems to soften the flash .
