A single 64GB card will handle approx 2000 5DIII photos. How many do you take on a vacation?

I shot three 32 GB cards on two 6D cameras last night (one card stuffed full, the others at about 40% and 80%), but that's because I shot an event during a personal vacation. Usually, I'm OK with one 32 GB card for each camera, plus a spare for each (unless I'm shooting with my 1DIV).

Given how many photos i have deleted on the fly while shooting it simply isnt a priblem.
We are excellent and making issues when none exist.
If your afraid of deleting off a cf card what will you do with the hard drive on your computer?
I have deleted tens of thiusands of images over the years as i shoot a lot of risky high loss percentage motion blur stuff.
Dont think twice about nor will i ever. If a card fails its not because it failed doing one of its most basic functions.

I've done it since digital was invented - it's not a problem.
