I'm back in costa rica next week for the 3rd time in last 12 months helping a friend make some memorable shots with his new gear and adding to my personal collection of over 200 species of birds. My top targets this time will include the nesting resplendent quetzal and some more endemics from the highlands and lowlands of the cloud forests.
In the meantime, i wanted to leave all my friends here with an image I made during one of my older trips of a long-tongued bat that is attracted to flowers and fruits for nectar and we get to make some memorable shots like these. I am heading back to the rainforests again in Nov this year with more photographers (and some from FM) to shoot some more endemics and some regulars, so stay tuned on that.
