great images, I know how hard it is to get these!
One suggestion - editing. It almost seems these are unedited and bit of s-curve would bring contrast, saturation make them stand out more.

Number one was at the top of the page and I guessed it was yours before I opened it. Beautiful as usual and the colors on the first make it art!

Hi Birdie...

Each of these is truly beautiful. It's amazing what you can find in the world if you stop and just look...and then take a wonderful photograph of what you've seen.

The damsel fly in #4 looks like it's riding a bicycle with dew drops for wheels.

Thanks
Tom

Thanks so much Tom, appreciate the kind words.

Birdie,

I recognised your style from the thumbnail

I really like the coloured background in the third one and the wings-spread one is a pose I have yet to capture well.

Harold

Harold, thank you. I tried and tried to get one taking off, but good golly it was hard. I was happy to get the one shot right before take off.

Your view of the natural world is so refreshing. I was thinking that this is more than just photography and even more than art...they (and by virtue of the one who made them) have a soul. Images such as these should make people understand the difference between taking photos and what these represent.
Eric

Eric,I am very touched and humbled by your very generous comments. Words fail me as to how touched I am.

I just love to find some little one and take a few shots and hopefully show a bit of their life.

Roberta, that is some picture perfect photography of the bug world. A unique quality of your macro bug shots which I admire is that they show broader "environment"

The quality of your macros of nature are among the very best anywhere.....and always.

Before reading the caption I wondered what that Katydid was. Thanks for having the curiosity to answer that question for us.
