Nice! My new D850 combined with my Sigma 135mm f/1.8 is superb. Here is a shot of a deer wide open last weekend. Iím going out later on this evening to do some Astro photography with this combo and hopefully I will come back with some wonderful results.

Not sure why but I like the images I've seen with the 105mm more... (coming from the guy who loves his 50mm 1.4 Art). Not sure the reason!

Understandable, but the 105 isnít long enough for wildlife and really the 135mm isnít either but itís the longest lens I have at the moment. I know the sigma 135 is sharper wide open than the 105, but thatís usually not a big deal for some. I just like the 135 for astronomy and some wildlife and portraits, but my 105 stays on my camera all the time. Itís a favorite. 105 is a nice FL.

I got out to one of the nearby state parks this morning around 2:30 AM to do some photos of the night sky after the moon set. This was my first time out with my new camera, the Nikon D850 and I wanted to see how it would do and experiment with some of the ISO settings. The sky was OK, it wasnít really dark enough but fairly transparent. Here is the California nebula and the heart and soul nebula along with the double cluster. These were single exposures, I am trying to learn how the camera behaves, next time I may stack with multiple exposure mode in the camera. So far I am real pleased at what I got. Enjoy....
