is it only just me or others are facing same issue when you keep 600mm IS II with lenscoat on it inside trunk case, it just do not fit and case is unable to close ??

Same problem with 500 ii and lens coat, so I leave the lens in my Think Tank bag

The lens + Lens Coat fits inside the case fine for me. However, the hood + Lens Coat does not, so I leave it out.
