p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · North Coast Waterfall Panoramas

Pano is one row of three stitched vertical shots at ~30mm in two layers each for dynamic range. The stitching was a nightmare that defeated three programs, mostly because of the wide-angle lens and downward shot angle needed to capture the full vertical scene.

I'm going to reshoot this one - the green moss-covered rocks right below the waterfall are slightly blurry at full magnification, killing the purpose of shooting the pano for a big print. I also want to see if I can get a huge swell at high tide to cover the inside rocks with swirling water. This is a medium swell, mid tide rising.

Single row, 4 stitched vertical images at 70mm.

The first time I tried to shoot image 1, I screwed up and came to this other waterfall in image 2. They're just under 2000 feet apart. Unfortunately, this was shot right after the major floods this winter, which means that wussy trickle is probably about the best this falls ever gets. Again, a massive swell and high tide would be more interesting.

Comments, criticism, mild abuse, and pano tips, including nodal slide/multirow gear suggestions, more than welcome. Tips on how to get a good multirow pano without buying a multirow head would be even more appreciated.
