This SoCal transplant is cold just looking at them!

Good story of a forced wait in a fast world. They may be standing still but they're already in the street trying to get wherever they're going. I appreciate the doublets too. Lots to notice.

Has been chilly in NYC lately, increasing the anticipation of Spring. Makes me want to join you in SoCal.

This is a nice image to me. It had my attention for a while. Did you intentionally crop the heads? Love the collection of styles that you captured here and the scene. The ones closest to the moving cars have their eyes where they need to and the two gals with their flanks exposed are keeping an eye out back! Interesting capture of a group.

Hey Kevin, and yes, my crop was intentional. I wanted to focus on the stationary, waiting aspect of standing on a corner, showing lower limbs. At the same time, I thought that the lady looking backward toward where she had come from was apropos, To me, there is a "questioning" look on her face, not sure why. We can only wonder.

Four snaps of red add much to an otherwise drably coloured scene.
