I cannot justify keeping this lens and TC. It's sat in the case since I bought it from a member here, did about 2 sessions of surf photography, I was going to save it to make videos with my panasonic but decided I'd rather surf than shoot. Product stills were rushed, will gladly send more.
Cons:
-button to switch focus modes missing rubber (it's just a metal button)
-some scuffs on hood and body
-fast turn of the focus ring in MANUAL FOCUS mode makes squeak noise, AF mode is perfect
Pros:
-AF is fast, snappy, and accurate (if you want faster focus, pony up for AF-S)
-aperture blades are oil free and clean
-tack sharp with 1.7TC

Mirror Lock Up, spot prism finder with TTL metering (focusing simplicity), strap, wooden grip, shutter curtain is snappy and clean, no fungus/mold/dirt. The takumar 105 is one of the best medium format lenses and is adapted to other systems like pentax645 and Mamiya. This camera is not missed a beat with my film quiver: Ektar100, Fuji400h, Fuji Velvia, Portra160, 400, 800.
Some slight marks on the body, take-up spool thing has chipping paint (pictured)
