p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Manhattan Bridge Revisited

I visited again this spot in NYC to capture it with my "new" tilt and shift lens and create a dramatic look.

I love the distortion free results from this lens, now I want to reshoot all my pictures with this lens

Nikon D810 + 24mm PCE lens.

Very nice composition. I like the contrast between the bridge and subtle background.

Another great perspective and an interesting contrast between the 100+ year old bridge and the 'modern' skyline in the hazy distance.

Glad you're loving the new lens and looking forward to seeing how it turns out--- it will be the 8th wonder of the world if it can duplicate your Lady Liberty & moon shot.

Suggestion: as you revisit earlier shots maybe include a link to your original?

Charles

Charles thank you for the comment, the following is the shot I did with the 14-24mm f2.8 two years ago.

The T&S lens is a fantastic lens and make the pictures look more real with out the distortion.

I'm still learning and takes some time to handle it in the proper way.

Nice work, do enjoy the structural nature of the bridge with its color and tones and the contrast with the high key city background. Glad you are enjoying your lens.

I like version 2 much better. Your photo makes me remember how much I miss that wonderful city! Once a New Yorker, always a New Yorker.

Thank you for the kind words, it is an amazing lens, but I warned you it is addictive, you will want soon the 19mm PCE.
