March came in nice and warm here in New York City and for the past two weekends we have been reminded it is still winter with very cold temperatures and very windy as March always is. I'll head out to a faverate sheltered place in the afternoon yet for now I'm looking at photos taken in Ceder Key, Florida in late January. Most of these photos were taken off the dock behind the condo we were renting and the others during a boat ride to the islands of the National Wildlife Refuge.

Nice variety Morris....I got a kick out of seeing that butterfly in flight....I like how it is so small in the overall frame.

Good going on these Morris, the Monarch stands out to me, as well as the White pelican.

Florida is quite a birding place, and you have obviously gotten into it quite nicely. Even a Monarch in flight, and the Three-coloured heron is pleasingly rendered. The sole Pelican crowded by Cormorants is quite comical.

Nice set, enjoyed the pelican among the cormorants the most followed by the two spoonbills.

Nice work with many birds, Morris. Florida seems like a heaven for bird photographers and yet I don't have a chance to go yet.
