p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Is this sensor dust or what??

Hello,

I need a 2nd opinion here.

A friend of mine asked me about some issues with "dirt" on her photos...

Since she she said it appears on every photo regardless of the lens, I thought it was classic sensor dust until she sent me some pictures.
Now I am not sure anymore, it seems to be more than a spec of dust. What could this be - grease? Some other kind of stain?

Here's the link: https://c.gmx.net/@329534358803190796/hZPK0hUkR_y0nKTbGbzqGQ

appreciate your feedback
thanks
Christian

Looks like sensor dust to me, at least the blob at the top, mid-frame. Perhaps a hair-straw. Just try to blow it away with a rocket-blower or something.

Top middle looks like a hair or dust bit on either the back surface of the lens, lens mount, or maybe attached to the mirror box and extending over the mirror. You should be able to see it easily if you remove the lens. As mentioned, a RocketBlower or similar device should get it off.

That's a hair stuck in the mirror box near or on the sensor. I'd also check the rear optic of the lens, but it should be pretty easy to spot.
