p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Sony A6300 doesn't communicate w/ Zeiss ZE lenses when in-focus | |
I have a new A6300 and I'm new to Sony as well. I have several Zeiss Distagon T* ZE lenses that I use with an MC-11 lens converter. While my Canon EF lenses autofocus just as if I was using a Canon camera with this setup, the MF Zeiss lenses I thought would be either lighting up or at least beeping when they are in focus, as they do with Canon cameras.
Is there something that needs to be turned on with the A6300 so that the camera recognizes the signals from the Zeiss lens, or is there no communication between the lenses and the camera? It works perfectly with the Canon cameras so I was surprised that it doesn't alert me when the lens is in focus with the Sony camera.
What am I missing?
Thanks.
