We just returned from a safari trip to Botswana, starting in Nxai Pan (Kalahari Desert), then to Kwara Camp in the Delta and last at Savute Under Canvas. This was our sixth safari trip but first in the Green Season, and it was quite a different experience!
With the high grass, I had an allergic reaction to the pollen and was covered head to toe with an itchy red rash, fortunately antihistamines kept it under control but I ended up holding a handkerchief over my mouth for about a week.
Here are some (maybe too many?) pics, all done with the EM1 Mark 2, 50-200SWD (some with the EC14 teleconverter). The first part of the trip with had pretty good light, but the last week was rainy and at best flat, low light.
Comments welcome!
