Poor man's Malayan Horned Frog - Perak Spadefoot Frog / Perak Horned Toad (Xenophrys aceras). He/she doesn't look too happy to see me. Highlands of Pahang, Peninsular Malaysia. We also meet the other poor man's horned frog, i.e Xenophrys longipes.

Wonderful critter you come across while looking for snakes! Adult female Orchid Mantis (Hymenopus coronatus). Definitely one of the most well known and most beautiful species in the world. Peninsular Malaysia.
