These photos are taken across the East Pond at Jamaica Bay National Wildlife Refuge. Most would call this "pond" a lake as it's about 1/4 mile wide and 1 mile long. The images are cropped and taken about an hour before sunset.

Very nice Morris. The first two are my picks as unfortunately it decided to land with its rear towards you which leads to a less flattering and less engaging image. Still the light was very nice and has led to a great look to the images.

I really like the symmetry of of the two colors. Second photo is fantastic ...

Gorgeous Morris--great light and wonderful whites you captured there! Though I think the Mutes are considered somewhat invasive, you sure captured the beauty of those long bodies stretched out for landing.

Thank you Kim,

If you like the light on these take a look at the set I just posted. yes the mutes are not native though it's debatable if they are harmfull. Our governor, Andrew Cuomo, would like to gas them all.
