My initial findings: razor sharp, duh. Sharper than anything else I own. Ok great.
But that's if you're pixel peeping.
Zoom out in LR and it's hard to tell it apart from the 70-200. Hmmmm.
So I said to Jen, with the 135 Art you gain some sharpness, a little nicer bokeh, but you lose the versatility of the 70-200. To me, right now that tradeoff doesn't feel worth it.
We're on our way to shoot golden hour, grab some flare, and we'll see if I change my mind.
Three things
1) 135 Art doesn't come close to the 200 f2, not by a longshot.
2) If you don't need/care for the 70-200, then the 135 Art is definitely for you!
3) Never shot the 105, but now I want to. Look the 200 f2 is magic. The 105 is kinda magic based on what I've seen. But I'm not seeing any magic from the 135 Art.
