I like the symmetry and patterns in this. Looks like a gorgeous old building, any idea what it once served as? I think it's deserving of some detail shots!

Hi Douglas, thank you for your kind comment. The street where this building is located is (translated) called store(house) street and used to have several storages, a few of which have been renovated for contemporary use (small businesses + residential use). Since I don't know the town very well as I just stopped there while changing trains and couldn't find more information on the web for the specific building, I unfortunately can't explain which type of goods were stored there. Also this means I won't have the chance to return anytime soon to capture different views (besides, one was not allowed to enter).

The doors would have had a beam behind them that could slide out a few feet, with a pulley on the end. That way heavy items (such as pianos) could be raised or lowered from each floor.
