Just wondering what Fuji users are using for wireless triggers?

I just got the XT-2, and also have a 5D3 in which I use the Elinchrom Transmitter Plus HS (New Digital) but wondering what I can use for Fuji as I will have to purchase something so I am not hard wired all the time?

Should work. I've used the Skyport and it works a treat. why not try it?

It would work if its for Canon, the hotshoe will be the same, I didn't think so, so I didn't bother trying?

I would look seriously at roboSHOOT from Serene Automation. Full eTTL, HSS and a large and expanding number of different manufacture flash units supported.

I am using yongnuo RF603, manual only but at £16 they are a steal, I use them with Yongnuo flashes which have receivers built in for OCF

I also use yongnou triggers and they work fine for manual mode.

I have the ELB-400 with the HS quadra head and use the Plus HS to trigger. I have the Nikon trigger however. The Canon trigger should allow you to fire it from the Fuji but you won't get the high shutter speed stuff.

I heard a rumor that they are developing a HS plus trigger for Fuji. Cross them fingers.

Ok awesome I will try it. I just haven't had time to mess around, but will test it this week, that would be great!

I finally had a chance to throw the Skyport HS on and it does not trigger my strobes.

IS there anything specific I should be doing to get it to trigger?

Make sure your camera doesn't have TTL enabled (should be "M" - still getting used to the new firmware), and the hotshoe will not work if your camera is in "silent mode." I use a traditional Skyport without issue.

I double checked, and the camera was already in M mode for flash however there is no "Silent Mode" setting on the XT-2 anywhere throughout the menu, I looked in the manual as well?

Oddly enough I just tested the standard Skyport and it works like a charm, but the newer Skyport Plus-HS will not work it seems no matter what I try?

Ah, there used to be a "silent mode," now it's called "Sound and Flash Off" in the 1st Wrench menu (on an X-T1).

I concur with the ROBOSHOOT option. I am using them and they work as advertised very well.

I actually read as well that using a Cactus trigger on camera with the Skyport-Plus on it works like a charm.
I may try this as well this week.

Maybe this means the HS trigger is just "not supported" for now...
