Well I got my 2012 Mac Pro, 5.1, 3.33ghz 12 core machine today, I'm wanting to upgrade the gpu if my gtx680 pc version will work I'll use it if not I'll buy a Mac version on eBay. It seems there's no wifi card in the machine so I'll need to find on that will work, I'm planning on swapping at least one of the hdd out for a sdd that I already have but I need to refresh my OS X skills first, I will later on go to a pci Sata drive. Besides a web cam what other pci cards should I look at. I'm going to want dual monitors plus my cintiq so that is three displays.

What am I missing for hardware?

For software besides the default OS X stuff I have the papers, numbers etc software somewhere that I'll add to it, I'm adding my lightroom and photoshop cc package as soon as I get it connected plus x-plane 11. What else should I look at besides boot camp or parallels as I think I already own them

What other software?

Why use a Wifi card? The Mac Pro is too big to move often, so why not run an Ethernet cable?

Go with a wireless USB adapter, simply plugs into one of your USB slots and now gives you Wi-Fi to your wireless router. Of course if you are close to your router, simple plug in an Ethernet cord.
