p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · focus stacking And HDR => RAW advantages are possible or not?

hi

I didnt follow at all post treatment / optimisation since a whiiiiiiiile =)

I will have to go soon in special place to have the opportunity to shoot some beautiful landscapes

my question is : I would like to keep the advantages of RAW format, BUT I have no idea at all if one software is capable to keep the raw format if I want on the same scene to do both HDR AND Focus Stacking too=)

No need to loose time with explains, If you let me know which software is capable to export a new raw file after using theses 2 technics, I could make some searchs following....Or maybe I'm thinking about all this in a bad way and I have to consider all this in another direction

thanks a loot

Lightroom will produce a new RAW file (DNG) for HDR as long as your using LR6 or CC but wont focus stack .

dont think there is any other software that produces a raw file

You likely could do an HDR and a focus stat repeating each time you wanted an image, i.e, 3 exposure variations followed immediately by three focus changes. HDR merge is straight forward as is stacking in PP. Perhaps a way to merge both? I'd have to think about that for awhile as it's something I've thought of doing, but never followed thru on. Is it possible to associate HDR 1 with Focus 1 thru however many then merge? Dang got me to thinking here. Dangerous

If you get a breakthrough, let us know because "inquiring minds want to know."
