p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · With the macro lens

It was time to pull out the macro lens again.

The anole was taken with the 200mm macro with a 5T diopter.

The flowers in the drops were with the 200mm with the 5T and 6T stacked. I have no idea what magnification that gave me

As always , your nits, crits , comments and suggestions are most appreciated.

Hope you enjoy and thank you for looking.

Birdie

Wow, Birdie, those are very cool images! Yes, a macro lens can work its magic. I love the second water drop image showing the single water drop - very well done!

My gosh what size is your monitor? #3 is rather large!

Love your work here, #1 for me is just awesome, really fine control of what you wanted sharp and how it perfectly enhances the eye. Color and details are spectacular

The yellows are deep and soothing, great work Birdie on all.

Green anoles are the reason I am a naturalist. I took an interest in them very young as they were everywhere and it is such a wonderful image. The third photo is also spectacular.

Hi John, thank you. I really like the 200mm. The longer working distance is great. The rendering of the backgrounds is so smooth. Colors seem very true. On the down side, it is heavy, no VR . So far I can handhold without much issue, unless I stack 2 diopters, then it is time to pull out the tripod. All in all, I am quite happy I got it.
