These are really great! I especially like the post processing. You really make the cars pop and create and neat desat, film look. Particularly the first Ferrari shot, the 2nd CTS-V. Can you share a little of your post workflow?

Thank you for the feedback everyone.

Carlos,
The workflow really varies on the car and color. I personally love shooting black cars as most other automotive photographers don't like shooting black cars.
I usually use about 3-4 images with different parts of the car polarized with a B+W Circular Polarizer.
I first stitch the photos together with all the different panels polarized so there is minimal reflection on the paint and then i start playing around with a bunch of curves layers along with the different colors till i get something that i think is color graded to my liking.
I remove any type of distraction that there is in the image.
I also de-saturate most of the blue colors unless the car is blue of course.
It's mainly trail and error on my liking or mood that they i would suppose and there really isn't a single formula when it comes to shooting automotive photography.

If you have a more specific questions i'd love to answer it.

Huge automotive enthusiast shooter here as well (just as a hobby).

Do you use a rig shot for the rolling or have one?

I've tried rig shots and there is always a chance that it might damage a clients car.

I usually 100% shoot free handed and car to car .. shutter speed is anywhere from 1/25 - 1/60

Alex,

Thanks so much for sharing your process. The blending of multiple shots using a polarizer is brilliant! That really makes the cars look slick. All the curve layers, are they applied globally or selectively on the background & vehicle.

On the later shots of the Porsche is that lens flare out-of-camera or is there some added/modified in PS?

They are sometimes applied globally and selectively depending on the mood of the photo and backdrop to be honest.

I got lucky with that one. It was Straight Out Of Camera.
If you saw the before and after of that image you might drop dead.

As a auto enthusiast, I'm a bit envious you get to be around those cars, particularly the Ferraris and Porsches. Very nice pix!!

I'm a car fan too and relatively new to serious photography.

Thank you very much for publishing your EXIF data and talking a bit about your workflow and methods. This thread is like an advanced tutorial on the art of automotive photography.

Great shots
The backgrounds are just as important as the subject. Most people seem to forget this.
But, you've nailed it.
