Enjoyed a very warm winter and the flowers until a couple of weeks ago when the freezing temps came.

The hummers have all gone , not seeing the butterflies any longer ,but the blue jays and cardinals are returning.

Your nits, crits and suggestions are most appreciated.

Thank you for looking and I hope you enjoy.

Birdie

Gorgeous images, Roberta! I agree, the last image of the beetle is exquisite, although I enjoy the hummers and blue jay images, too.

I like that last one; I could get lost in there.
I was in New Orleans after New Years and almost froze. A destination wedding thing. The 2 coldest days of the year.

I can't think of anyone who does more with the simplicity of their own backyard than you, Birdie! Almost every set has one image that is so unique and artfully composed, like #6 in this one. All of the images here are great, but that one stopped me in my tracks and I have gone back several times already to have another look!

Thanks so much Don. Nothing like the cold damp weather in the south to make one really feel cold. Hope you enjoyed your trip .

Mitesh, those are the nicest words, thank you. So many post those gorgeous shots from the far away places with the exciting subjects. It is nice to know that you enjoy my modest garden shots.
