It seems like it comes down to personal preference when it comes to cameras but anyways,
For a beginner phitographer would a Nikon D3300 or Sony A6000 be a good camera to buy. I was thinking of buying one of the mentioned camera and probably a 50mm lens to start.

Any recommendations on either a different camera for a beginner or difference choice of lens or lenses?

Thank you.
Also, I was aiming for a budget around $450.

Is budget of $450 just body only or including the lens? Some of the older APS-C cameras from canon are within that range.

I bought my 50mm 1.8 for 80. Have quite a few other lens and 2 L lens and still use the 50mm a great amount.

Find a used T5i & 18-200mm here on the boards. My wife has one and it was in that price range.

I used to own a T2i. So perhaps I will look into the t5i. I was wanting a 50mm prime lens and then also I was going to look into a ranged lens.

50mm on a cropper is 75-80mm angle of view. Is the beginner primarily doing portraits or something?

The 50 mm for portraits was what I was thinking.

I also would like to get into landscape photography. Would these cameras be good enough for beginner landscape and portrait photography?

Also what would be a good lens for landscapes. Landscapes such as typical mountains, plains, etc. Also what kind of lens to photographers use for something such as birds?

Thank you for the help.
