Quality set Tom. The branch that squirrel is on appears to be popular with the peckers

Good eye contact on each, nice colors too

Depending on what your goal is, look for shots that won't have shadows cast on the subjects. Try to find perches with clean BG's so you can better isolate the subjects. All is good with focus and exposure, now the next step to enhance

Tom, it was around 20 degrees here today with snow, your setup looks pretty inviting to me right now!

Thanks Morris...The branch is a "skeleton" of a dead Cholla cactus, and you're right birds love to perch on them.

Hi Karl...Thank you so much for your comments and suggestions. I'm getting better, but there's so much more to learn. Your suggestions for BG's and shadowing are my next challenge.Stay warm, and try to imagine a sunny 70-degree day in the desert.

Excellent detail in all. I too favor #4. If you can pull down the bright spots in the big, the gf will POP. TFS.

Thanks Ted...I'll take another post processing pass at the background bright spots to see what I can do to tone them down. Your help is appreciated very much.
