I recently acquired an X-T1. I want to have several spare batteries with me. What is the collective's opinion on the use of non-OEM batteries (Wasabi, Watson, etc.)? Are there any problems with them or do they perform like OEM batteries?

Thanks.....Gregg

With the T1 I use all of the above (Wasabi, Watson, etc) - I have experienced not problems with any of them. However, if you are planning on moving up to the T2 someday, you might want to consider getting the Fuji "s" now as they will be needed with the T2 - although they are currently twice as much as the knockoffs! In the long run, they might be cheaper.

I have two Watson batteries. Seems like they might run out a little faster than the OEM. Other than that I have not had any other issues. Good value for the money.

I have 6x Wasabi batteries between a X-T1 and a X-E2. No issues whatsoever.
I use them almost exclusively, leaving the OEM sitting home.
