p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Photoshoot with Joanna- Second attempt

Joanna and I had a great photoshoot last year. It is very interesting how I met her and got to do a photoshoot with her. I posted the photos here on fredmiranda. You can read it here- https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1387519/0#13202256

After the first shoot, my covetous photography instincts were still not satisfied. Joanna and I kept talking about doing another one in the winter where she'd wear a fur coat and we'd go out to RMNP (Rocky Mountain National Park) to take photos in the snow. Well, that didn't happen. As the fall of 2016 approached, we decided to do a session in RMNP when the fall colors were in full bloom.
It was a beautiful Sunday when we did the shoot. We had a blast doing it!

Any comments, criticism, suggestions are most welcome, as always.
Also, it'd be great if you could pick your favorites. It'd be fun to compare the favorites picked by our Facebook friends and the photography community friends

Enough talking! Here are the photos-

#9 works for me

The B&W conversion gives a nice feeling to the image.

Nice job. It looks like you established a great rapport with her. #1 captures her warmth, #8 her feistiness, & #9 attitude.

Some of the poses are less flattering. The arm in #2 draws the eye and creates a weird framing. Generally try to pose a woman without her arm pressed against her so it doesn't add width like #4 (notice the improvement in #9.). The knee up squishes and shortens/thickens the torso in #4 & #5.

Watch out for shots like #2, the plant life in the foreground is extremely busy and detracts overwhelmingly from the subject of the image.
