Hey! You missed his head on the breach shot! What's up with that!?
You getting slow in your old age?
This is unacceptable and I insist you go back and reshoot this.
The only catch is, you have to take me with you.
Super nice work Jeff! I've never (probably never will) had the opportunity to get a breach but I know how difficult it is, and the fact that you got one is pretty impressive. Heck even the seal shot must have been hard to get.

I'm totally up for a reshoot! This was a decoy strike after about 35 minutes of towing the damn thing kneeling at the gunnels with the 100-400 waiting for something. My arms were starting to ache and Chris Fallows (brilliant photographer/big man with Apex Expeditions) said we'd do a couple more passes before pulling it and and dropping the cage. Then outta nowhere this monster explodes out of the water in a fraction of a second! I think the average break lasts about 0.7 seconds or so, so it's a spray and pray situation.
Natural breaches are even harder to grab, but the payoff is phenomenal!! I highly suggest you look up Chris's work - it is nothing short of spectacular. I could not suggest Apex enough!
Thanks for commenting.
