I'm trying to post an image from Flickr to the monthly assignment forum and I keep getting errors.
Can someone tell me how to do this correctly? It s the correct size but I get the error. EXIF data was expected in the image. The EXIF data was included when I published on Flickr

Thanks

There is and has been a huge sticky on how to post from Flickr.
Review it.
Check 2nd "sticky" on F&M thread.

I had read the stickies and still had problem. I was able to complete. I think Something changed on my flickr publishing settings from Lightroom. And it updated all my images removing the EXIF data. I recopied the metadata back to the image in Lighroom and exported. This corrected the issue.

Alright, I'm going to dig this up. I've also had a problem posting from Flickr. I'd love to know how people are doing it. When I look at my images I see all the EXIF data, but I have the same error when I try to post to the forum for the WA/MA. Any suggestions?

I've read the sticky and have posted from Flickr before (just never in WA/MA) with success.

And I just figured it out. For a regular Flickr user (like myself) Flickr will strip all the EXIF data off any resized photo. Thus, you'll need to export a resized photo to flickr (with 800px being the max) in order to have the exif data show up in the WA/MA!

Hope this helps, and sorry for digging this up.
