p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · RESIZING large number of photos in Adobe BRIDGE

Most of the time, I end up asking questions that I don't know or can't find the answer to. In this case, I found the answer quickly for about 1300 photos I took at a wildlife animal park in northern California (Safari West) where my Canon 5DSR's handling of jpg's made them so large that even my email couldn't send one single jpg.

Using Adobe Bridge, it's very easy and possible to shrink the photos OR resize the file size, or both, of ALL of your photos at once to a manageable size so that they can be emailed or handled for online apps like Facebook.

I tried the following website's instructions and it worked really well:

https://pedagoog.wordpress.com/2011/07/20/image-resize-adobe-bridge/

This site's instructions were easy to understand, had actual screen-shots that were up-to-date, and it worked the first time w/o any problems. The only issue I would recommend is to create a file for these photos to go to BEFORE you start this process, otherwise, it's a bit trickier to create a new file in the middle of this process.

I hope you find this helpful.
