p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Simple Flashpoint (Godox) Flash Question

Hey all, I was thinking about picking up a Flashpoint (V860SII) from Adorama for my Sony A7 along with the R2 transmitter to use it off camera. My wife shoots Nikon. I assume if I could get her a transmitter for Nikon and she could use the Sony flash off camera if she wanted to? Basically wondering if there is any difference between the Nikon and Sony flashes besides the physical hot shoe mount. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

I guess not as simple as I thought. I ordered the stuff for my Sony since I know that will work, will have to dig deeper for Nikon.

The Sony Speedlite can be fired as a slave by a Nikon XT1 trigger or a V860IIn mounted on the camera.
